As mandates come down and things begin to return to how they were before the pandemic, many health services are reverting to being out-of-pocket expenses or covered by insurance. This includes many of the COVID-19 testing sites. As new information is reported, the Hawai‘i State Department of Health is posting it at https://hawaiicovid19.com/testing-isolation-quarantine/
However, because changes are happening rapidly, please check directly with the site you’re interested in to see if there are any costs involved and what they might be.
The federal government is still providing four free at-home tests that may be ordered twice (for a total of eight tests) to each American household. To order your free tests, please visit https://www.covid.gov/. Additionally, on that site, there is a map highlighting a few places that offer testing and treatment (Find a Test-to-Treat location near you).
