The short-term side effects of the vaccines are very much the same for keiki, adolescents, and adults. These side-effects could include:
– Pain, redness or swelling where the shot was given
– Fever
– Fatigue
– Headache
– Muscle pain
– Chills
– Joint pain
– Nausea and vomiting
– Feeling unwell
– Swollen lymph nodes

Most side effects go away in a few days. Side effects can occur after either dose, but might be more intense after the second dose. Many people have no side effects at all.
