When you are vaccinated:
– You will be far less likely to catch COVID-19, including the newer variants such as Delta and Omicron.
– Even if you are infected with COVID, being vaccinated will help you stay out of the hospital and off a ventilator.
– You will help protect those who are at a higher risk of severe illness due to COVID.
– You will help protect those who cannot be vaccinated, such as very young children and people with immune systems weakened for other reasons, like cancer treatments.
