When considering if it’s best to have your child vaccinated against COVID-19, there’s a lot to think about. We all want our children to be safe and need to weigh the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine against the harms of getting or spreading COVID.

When your keiki is vaccinated:
– They will be less likely to catch COVID-19.
– If they are infected with COVID, the vaccine helps prevent them from becoming seriously ill and possibly suffering long-term COVID health effects.
– They will help protect those who are at a higher risk of severe illness due to COVID as well as those who cannot be vaccinated, like very young children or family members with increased health risks.
