Like a lot of people, you may be weighing the pros and cons of getting vaccinated against COVID-19. Even though the vaccines have been shown to be safe and effective, you may experience some mild, short-term side effects.
These side-effects could include:
– Pain, redness, or swelling where the shot was given
– Fever
– Fatigue
– Headache
– Muscle pain
– Chills
– Joint pain
– Nausea and vomiting
– Feeling unwell
– Swollen lymph nodes
Most side effects go away in a few days. Side effects can occur after either dose, but might be more intense after the second dose. Many people have no side effects at all.
