What about ivermectin for treating COVID-19?

Ivermectin is a drug designed to treat parasites in humans and animals. Although there have been studies to test if it might be used to treat COVID, those studies have been small and inconclusive. Currently, there is no reliable evidence that it should be used to treat COVID-19. Plus, using ivermectin for other reasons than what it is meant for can pose serious health risks, even death.
