As of January 5, 2022, all individuals aged 12 and up are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot if they received their last Pfizer or Moderna dose 5 or more months ago, or Johnson & Johnson dose 2 or more months ago.

For younger keiki, it’s important to consult with your pediatrician to determine what is best for your ‘ohana.

Guidance for boosters is evolving rapidly with new data, so the most current source for information will be https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html

The FDA is also allowing Americans to mix-and-match their booster shots, which means you can choose to receive an additional dose from any of the three brands that are available.
