Common, less serious COVID symptoms for average adults include fever, body aches, cough, fatigue, chills, sore throat, headache, loss of appetite, and loss of taste or smell. Some adults may experience gastrointestinal or neurological symptoms, with or without the more typical symptoms above. And others may have no symptoms at all, although they can still pass along the virus to others.

Unfortunately, for a significant number of people, the effects of COVID are much more serious, ranging from trouble breathing to permanent lung damage, persistent pain or pressure in the chest to heart inflammation, as well as many more life-threatening complications.

If you think you are feeling evenly mildly unwell, please take a COVID test and isolate. A partial list of symptoms may be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html.

And, please check in with your health provider for further advice.
